Start of the Journey

Cepeda and Riolu walk outside of the Pokemon Office, as he nods, he and Riolu nod at each other. Cepeda and Riolu smile at each other, as they walk towards the entrance of Route 201. Cepeda and Riolu nod, as they walk, and approach the tall grass. They clear out the tall grass from their vision, as they walk farther and farther into it. Cepeda and Riolu smiled, as they approach the path, they encounter a Starly flying above them.

Cepeda and Riolu smile, as he points up. "Riolu, use foresight!" Riolu focuses his vision on the Starly, as it smiles. The Starly lands on the ground, as it looks ack at Riolu and Cepeda. "Riolu, now Quick Attack!" Riolu shouts, as the Starly looks at the two, and starts to fly, as Riolu dashed toward its way, it instantly rushes it with his shoulder, as it knocks him away. Riolu, smiles, as the Starly flies back up, as it looks at Riolu, after recovering, and starts to fly at high speeds at Riolu. It uses Quick Attack, as it knocks Riolu away also.

Riolu falls back, as it falls back. Riolu bounces back, as it looks back. Riolu smiles, as they both look back at each other. Riolu and Starly start to use quick attack on each other yet again. They both collide, as they bounce back as they hit each other, as they both hit the ground, he notices the stress both Riolu and Starly are under. "Riolu, jump into the air with Starly." Riolu follows orders, as he jumps into the air. Starly starts to fly toward him, as he smiles. "Riolu, now grab Starly's beak." Cepeda shouts, as Riolu grabs Starly's beak. "Now, SLAM HIM ON THE GROUND!" Riolu throws it to the ground, as Starly screams, then eventually faints. Cepeda smiles, as he takes out his pokeball. "Pokeball Go!" Cepeda shouts, as he throws the pokeball at Starly. The pokeball absorbs Starly, as it starts to shake to contain Starly. Cepeda looks at it dramatically, as the pokeball stops, and makes a sound, as it successfully caught Starly. "I caught a STARLY!' Cepeda shouts, as he picks up the pokeball

Level 3 Starly Caught.

Cepeda smiled, as he relased Starly from her pokeball, as he looks down at it. He kneeled down, as he rubbed its head, and massaged its beak. "I'm sorry I had to hurt you like that, it was the only way to catch you, but don't worry, I'll treat you really well." He says to it, as it rubs its head.

Cepeda smiled, as Riolu and Starly start to interact with each other. Cepeda smiled, as he looked around, he looked deeper within the grass, as he withdrew a pokeball. It increased, as he twirled it on the tip of his finger, and waited for something to happen. "Get ready you guys, we have a battle on our hands."

Chim char came into sight and did Dig. He was diging right for Riolu. Chimchar thought this should be easy scince he was going right to Riolu.

Cepeda nods, as he returned Starly back to his pokeball. Cepeda smiled, as he stood up, and Riolu got into a stance, as he waited for his new opponent.

OCC:Chimchar, only knows Scratch and Leer, but OK

The Chimchar burrowed its way out of the ground (Cancelling out the Dig it cannot use) and Leapt toward its opponent, aiming to scratch the Riolu that stood before him.

"Riolu, Dodge it!" He shouts to his Riolu, as he quickly sidesteps out of the way of Chimchar's scratch. 'Now, Quick Attack!" He shouts, as Riolu speeds forward, as it attempts to attack Chimchar with his attack, and due to them being so close, and his increased speed, it will be hard to dodge.

The Chimchar was thrown backward due to the force of the Quick Attack that had been used on it. Losing about half of its health, it struggled to get back up but managed to do so in the end, throwing itself toward the Riolu again for another Scratch attack.

"Riolu, try to doge it again." Riolu was hit by the scratch, as he flew backwards from the force of the attack, he started to pant, he was exhausted from the battle with Starly earlier. "Return." Cepeda said, as he put Riolu back into his pokeball, as he lets Starly come out. "Starly, lets go!"

Using this opportunity, Chimchar used Scratch on Starly with great speed and force.

"Starly, fly out of the way." Starly flapped its wings toward Chimchar, as it used the wind to blow back out of the way of the scratch. Cepeda smiled, as Starly was shocked, and barely dodged the blow. "Now, Quick Attack!" Starly flew toward Chimchar, and attempted a flying, fast quick peck toward Chimchar.

The Chimchar was knocked back by the strong wind but the last straw for it was when the peck struck him, throwing him back into a tree and knocking the Chimchar out. It fell to the ground and lay still.

"Nice job Starly, now let's go!" Cepeda shouts, as he throws the pokeball he had in his hand toward the Chimchar, the aim was perfect, and the force of the ball wasn't much, that way he couldn't harm the Chimchar, he didn't want to hit random pokemon with balls that hard.

Just before the Pokeball reached Chimchar, it stopped dead in the air, snapped open and a bright light came from within it that sucked up the Chimchar. The Pokeball locked itself with a satisfying click.

Cepeda ran over, and picked up the Pokeball. "Yeah, I caught Chimchar!" Cepeda shouted, as he walked over, and pet Starly on the forehead. 'Good job Starly, you need a long rest." Cepeda puts him back into his pokeball, as he releases Chimchar, and pets him on the head, as he smiled. "I'm sorry, but i'll make up for the pain you felt by becoming a great friend and trainer to you.
