The Journey Begins

Ryder was ready for his journey. He had already received his Pokemon. Axew was so used to Ryder that he was already on top of his head. Sometimes when Axew's are taken a big liking to you they will get on your head as if it as a nest. Ryder was told the next day to come to the Professors lab to pick up something. He entered the lab looking for the Professor.

A female professor with her hair tied back, appearded from around the corner. She took a quick glance at the trainer. " You must be Ryder the new pokemon trainer, I guess you're here for your 5 pokeballs and pokedex? " She asked looking directly at Ryder.

He put Axew on the floor. He then approached the Professor and told her "Yes. I'm going to need them both if i'm going to start my adventure.". He then took the five pokeballs and Pokedex from the professor after she handed them to him. He now had the materials he needed to start his journey. He knew what he wanted to do next. He wanted to catch the pokemon his grandfather had as kid. A growlithe. Opelucid City. He waited for the Professor to tell him something.

Tjhe proffeser walked towards Ryder,
"Now remember, I need you to carry this pokedex to gather knowledge of pokemon."
She said looking him straight in the eye.
"You must take care of your pokemon too! Now.. Would you like me to show you how to catch a pokemon?"
She asked him.

She looked at the professor. "Sure, the more knowledge the better. Lead the way."

The proffeser then walked out the door, After a little bit she got to tall grass.
"Ready?"
She asked pulliung out a pokeball.
