Catching Squirtle

Altair was finally on his journey, knew his first stop needed to be Viridian City so he could stock up on supplies. Altair had to walk through some grass as the rest of the path was blocked. Altair heard some russling close by and grabbed Bulbasaurs Pokeball from his belt, just to be on the safe side.

A wild Squirtle appears! (Level 4)

The Squirtle cautiously looked through the thin, tall blades of grass that separated it from the newly appeared Bulbasaur that lay before it. It yelped before dashing back slightly. However, it had a second thought, running toward the Bulbasaur and ducking down to try to tackle it.

Bulbasaur was hit with the tackle and pushed back a little. "Bulbasaur tackle it back!" Without a second thought Bulbasaur charged forward trying to tackle the squirtle. "SAR!!"

The Squirtle yelped and was thrown back by the much stronger Bulbasaur who had tackled it. It was knocked back, unconscious into a grassy patch behind it, the grass cushioning its fall slightly.

Altair saw that the Squirtle fell to the ground and seemed to be knocked out so Altair grabbed on of his empty pokeballs and threw it at the Squirtle attempting to catch it.

Altair noticed he through a toy he brought along for bulbasaur and needed to get some pokeballs, he won the battle but needed to come back to catch the squirtle

Altair went the pokemart close by and came back to see if he could find that Squirtle he just fought. Altair released bulbasaur preparing for another battle. There was ruffling in the grass once more as the Squirtle from earlier popped out its head. Altair was excited about finding the Squirtle again, but knew he needed to focus on the battle.
Altair looked down at bulbasaur and they were both prepared to fight. "Bulbasaur TACKLE!" Bulbasaur jumped forward and charged the Squirtle. The Squirtle dodged the attack and launched its own tackle hitting Bulbasaur. Altair knew that Bulbasaur was not yet developed in battle but it had to continue, Altair asked bulbasaur to attack with tackle again, this time it was able to connect. The squirtle fell to the ground and was knocked out cold. Altair saw this as an oppertunity to try and once more catch the pokemon. Altair grabbed on of the Pokeballs he just bought and threw it at the Squirtle. The pokeball connected with the pokemon in an attempt to capture it. Altair waited as the ball rocked back and forth until finally it lay to rest showing that the pokemon was captured.
