Moving along from pallet town Markus had two new pokeballs. It seemed pretty obvious in his mind of what he needed to do. Catching a rattata would be useful they were fast and furious and knew dark type moves. It was certainly a pokemon he could make use of. he smiled lightly at the idea and walked into the grass.
Finding the rattata was the easy part he smiled and drew out his pokemon “Ekans take it down.” the burst of white light showed the small snake pokemon the stair off happened then the rattata made a burst of motion and struck the Ekens with a quick attack “Wrap.”
At his command the Ekens snaked around the rattata and began to crush it holding it in the wrap as the pokemon tried to struggle. It struck with a tackling blow but couldn’t do anything to break free. “Poisen Sting.” The ekens moved fast with a quick bite against the rat this was how nature intended it. the mouse caught in the snakes jaws. It was almost symbolic. Between the poison and the wrap the Rattata was in intense pain. It would die soon enough. But that wasn’t why he was here.
He pulled out his pokeball and smiled slightly as he tossed it hitting the rattata. The ball landed after a flash of light and he watched as the ball gave three tiny shakes and then go dark. “That does it for right now… Ekens return.” He returned the ekens and noted it seemed stronger then before… must have leveled. Good to know.
