Personality: Hesper is easily irritated by those around her and dislikes most of the people she meets. Although she can hardly escape the determined and the overly enthusiastic, she doesn't want to be around them. Still, the type might be able to grow on her. She respects the wisdom of older people and tends to hang around them a lot more than people her own age.

Background: Born in Saffron City, Hesper is a psychic, like her mother and grandmother before her. Her little brother is also a psychic, although male psychics don't typically run in the family. Hesper's father is an archaeologist, so she rarely sees him. She didn't find much reason to become a trainer, but recently was urged by her mother to go out and see the world. Hesper has little interest in gym badges or even catching any more pokemon, but if her wise mother suggests it, she'll do it.
