Hunt for Drifloon

Tama had traveled a long way from his home in way encountering many pokemon and trainers training his pokemon. Tama was now ready to face this Drifloon pokemon that he got informed about in pokedex as a special one and it obviously caught Tama's attention. He could not let this slide by.
After entering Unova region, Tama was going towards Accumula Town trough Route two where he planned to catch the drifloon. Taking out Pikachu's pokeball, Tama summoned Pikachu making it appear with large amount of lightning ready for battle.

"Alright, time to see what is this Drifloon capable of!" Tama said looking right and left while walking forward. He really couldn't wait until he would meet it.

Drifloons was similar to a purple balloon and people would tell him that. But they thought that they was nothing like a purple balloon. Besides, they wasn't even all purple. Route Two wasn't filled with them much but some times they would come out alot in this season. Many of them were in the air on Route Two to cool off the heat that was coming by. But one had gotten left back by the flock that they was suppose to be in and decided to stay down on the surface. The Drifloon hid behind a tree because when he was about to turn to walk down the Route Two path, a electric type was in his way. "I can't fight that" said the Drifloon.

He was almost frightened to death. This Drifloon was smart and knew every thing about weaknesses and strengths; That was the reason why every trainer that tried to catch him failed but this one maybe was going to be able to get him. He had never seen a smart trainer since another one that came to challenge him long time ago.

Suddenly Pikachu could hear someone speaking in a pokemon's voice near. Pikachu turned head left and right searching from where might the noise come. "What is it Pikachu?" Tama said getting on one knee to ask Pikachu. Pikachu just replied "Pika, Pika!" slowly noticing from where the noise might of came from. This Pikachu really didn't like if someone would be peeking on him or sneaking up on him, so he didn't take this lightly at all.
Pikachu soon ran into grass to the side from where he heard the voice looking if there is Drifloon near. Tama stayed standing on the sand road looking on how what was Pikachu doing and also Tama looked for Drifloon himself.

The Drifloon peeked around the tree to see if the Pikachu was coming. It was coming for him. "This is not good" Drifloon thought to himself. He would have to defend himself before his opponent and rival would get here. Four long, creeping or vines rose from the grass on the left side of the sand path using the Constrict skill. They attacked the Pikachu attempting to grab his arms, and legs. "I should have him here" whispered Drifloon. But he didn't want to fight the Pokemon, he wanted to get away from it. This only meant one thing- he would have to start a hit and run. Drifloon compresses it's body to make itself look smaller which sharply raises its evasiveness. He runs away from the direction Pikachu was.

Keeping the electric not near him was his top priority. Drifloon had "No" help because all the other ones was up in the air flying out some where while he didn't even go with them; How foolish of him. His dad and mom told him that he was going to be hunted by a trainer with strong Pokemon if he didn't go with them.

Before Drifloon charged at Pikachu with it's Constrict move and size decrease move, Pikachu drew large amounts of lighting around himself shooting it straight to drifloon as Pikachu's speed was higher than Drifloon's. This was the ThunderShock move, which would do twice the damage to Drifloon since he was weaker to lightning. This was also an attempt to avoid getting caught with the constrict move.

Pikachu kept running forward to Drifloon preparing for it's next attack. Meanwhile Tama stood at the road noticing the battle has begun and walked inside the grass a bit in case if it was needed later to be closer at Pikachu.

The Drifloon attempted to constrict Pikachu, also decreasing its own size. However, the attack was almost nullified when the Pikachu struck back with it's Thundershock move. Thankfully, decreasing its size meant the Drifloon didn't suffer so much damage. Even though this was the case, the Drifloon had suffered serious injuries.

"Let's finish this, Pikachu!" Tama yelled pointing at Drifloon. "Pikachu, use Thundershock!"
Pikachu yelled Pika Pika before charging another large electricity amount around itself and charge it towards Drifloon with all power it had. Hopefully it would hit and knock out Drifloon so Tama could capture it.

Tama was getting excited to get a pokemon like Drifloon who had a resistance against normal attacks. It would be very useful in battles.

Before the Drifloon could react, it was attacked head-on by a Slam from Pikachu, causing it to be propelled back into a tree, almost bursting itself. The Drifloon surrundered as it collapsed from the tree into the grass, deflating.

Tama threw his pokeball at Drifloon knocking it against it's head and capturing it inside. Tama ran at the pokeball with excitement rubbing it between his hands.
"You're going to become strong with me, friend!" Tame spoke with his soft but loud child's voice. He could even see Drifloon in a battle now.
Dropping the pokeball in backpack Tama walked away with Pikachu to find yet another pokemon they could capture.
