After walking downstairs from his room Apoc grabs his pokeball from his belt.
"Go Machop!" Machop comes out of his ball and looks at Apoc
"MA.."
"Good morning Machop. You ready to go? Today we are going to Viridian City. I hear there are a nest of Charmander on the way, but we need to go get some Pokeballs to catch us one. He is going to be your new sparing partner." Machop gave an approving nod, and Apoc held up the Pokeball. "Return Machop" and in a glow of red light the pokemon was gone and Apoc was on his way.
