Training, what?

Natsuki felt a little ways away from Twinleaf Town, even though it wasn't her hometown. She sighed and continued to walk the lonely route. She wondered idly if it was usually this empty during the day.

Tama was just a passing by pokemon trainer after traveling outside Johto region and passing by Sinnoh region once again. It was just another pokemon research he wished to do and also train in the way to improve pokemon's skill and truly become a strong pokemon trainer.
Tama was a kid at young age with medium length blond hair. He was very obsessed with his looks and fashion.
While whistling Tama was going along the path of lonely route 203 by Jubilife City ready to train his pokemon even stronger.

Suddenly he saw a girl in range that was walking also by the route alone. When Tama saw her, he immediately stopped walking looking at her from range and waiting on what would happen next.

"Geez... Travelling isn't so cool once you actually do it," she shook her head dejectedly while staring at the ground in front of her.

Her bangs, which fell slightly over her eyes, were brushed to the side as Natsuki looked up to what was in front of her. She startled a bit when a boy stood by watching her. Natsuki continued walking towards the boy, and when she reached him an eyebrow was raised.

"Hi," she greeted, "Is there a reason why you're looking at me?"

Tama shook head after hearing the question and answering in a voice Tama would speak to any known person: "Yes there is!" Tama smiled at the girl while not feeling like being in a presence of a stranger at all. "But you don't have to worry about it."

Tama then looked left and right dropping look on the grass that was on sides of the Route 203 path seeing if there is anything near. "So what are you doing alone in this Route?" Tama asked with soft child's voice

"Uhm... Okay?" She replied with uncertainty. This little boy was weird, and from his soft voice she guessed that he was probably three to four years younger than her.

"I'm here... to train, I guess."

In reality Natsuki didn't know what in the world she was doing. She'd heard all the stories about walking in grasses and looking for other Pokemon to capture or to beat just so their own Pokemon can train. Natsuki knew she wasn't much of a trainer, but there was no harm in letting her Pokemon grow stronger and more healthier.

"What are you doing here?"

"Same thing really!" Tama was speaking with a confident voice while maintaining the child's smile. "I actually planned to go trough here and visit pokemon center to heal my pokemon before i go to capture more advanced pokemon. But in the way of traveling i always enjoy to train my pokemon a bit to make them stronger!"

Tama then took off the backpack he usually carries on his shoulders. He then zipped it open digging his hand inside the backpack searching for a pokeball. He then took out one of the full pokeballs which contained Pikachu, Mitsu's favorite pokemon from his captured so far.
After Tama took out the pokeball, he placed the backpack back on his shoulders after zipping it closed.

"I see..." Natsuki relaxed and sent the child a smile. He was quite a cheerful lad, and that in turn made her swing into a happy mood as well. The mention of Pokemon Center and capturing more Pokemon piqued her interest.

"Oh? You have more than one Pokemon already?" She asked as she glanced at the pokeball he just retrieved. "And are your Pokemon all right?"

"Yes, i have in total three pokemon!" Tama looked up at the girl holding his pokeball in one hand. "This is my very first pokemon and also my favorite, he is called Pikachu." Tama spoke to the girl like he would speak to a person he has known for months.

"What about you, how many pokemon have you captured?" Tama was pretty interested in knowing more about other pokemon trainers or at least people that have pokemon.

Natsuki's cheeks flushed a bit. She only had one while the other boy had three. It was slightly embarrassing for her since she thought she was older and could have had more Pokemon.

"Er... I only have one right now. I just came from Twinleaf Town and got a PokeDex," She admitted as she took out her own pokeball, enlarged it, and then showed it to him. "It's a Dratini, and his name is Salendriel but I call him Riel for short."

"I once saw Dratini pokemon on television!" Tama said looking at the pokeball in the girl's hands. "It looks pretty cool." Tama said looking back at the girl and raising his own pokeball a bit holding it even more tight.

"So how about we train our pokemon now?" Tama said with a pretty cheerful voice and he showed a smile. While smiling, Tama's white shiny teeth could be seen as he let out few giggles ready for training his pokemon again.

Natsuki laughed at the boy's expression. He was so cute!

"My cousin, Aaron, got Riel from a gaming center and gave him to me," she explained.

Dratini were quite rare, and hard to capture as well. Natsuki thought she was quite lucky have such a nice cousin who would continue playing at the gaming corner just so he could buy her a Pokemon for her birthday. She smiled at the memory before shaking her head and returning her attention to the boy in front of her.

"All right. So... How do go about training our Pokemon...?" She asked before realizing that she didn't even know the boy's name. "Oh! Uhm... I'm Natsuki Kanda, by the way. And you are?"

"Well we mi..." Tama was about to suggest Natsuki how they should train their pokemon until he was interrupted by another question. Of course, the name, how could Tama forget that. "The name's Tama! Pleasure to meet you." Tama smiled saying the line he usually hear'd his parents say when they greeted a new stranger.

"The training might just go like i usually train my pokemon," Tama turned to the grass at side of Route 203 looking inside it, "you hunt for a pokemon and then knock it out with pokemon you want to train. Then you can throw a pokeball at it if you want to capture it or you can just hunt for another pokemon to battle if you don't want to capture it."

Tama then slowly took steps inside the grass looking to encounter a pokemon he could train his Pikachu on in battle, while looking back at the girl once in a while to see what is she doing. "This will be fun!" Tama cheered.

"Tama, huh? Cool name." She had been about to call his name 'cute' but remembered that boys in general, especially kids his age, had an aversion to the word. So Natsuki settled with 'cool.'

Then she nodded at his explanation and followed him to the grass. Simple enough.

"Yea, thanks!" Tama showed a smile to Natsuki before running into grass searching for a pokemon. While Tama was walking forward into the grass, he encountered a Bidoof that was currently digging something in ground that Tama couldn't tell from the way over there. Tama then reached his hand into shorts pocket taking out the little laptop they call pokedex. He scanned the pokemon getting information on him.
"This is a level ten bidoof, it is a normal type. Alright, i think Pikachu can take on this pokemon!" Tama said showing a smile of excitement pointing his pokeball forward ready to release Pikachu. "There should be another pokemon near." Tama said to Natsuki before releasing Pikachu from the pokeball.

The pikachu appeared with large electricity flowing around that made Pikachu look even more deadly than it is. It had a evil smile on it's face and standing in a battle ready pose showing it's great battle spirit.

Natsuki nodded her head towards Tama, who was now busy having his Pikachu attack something called a Bidoof. She turned to the right of the field before spotting something sticking out in an area of taller grass. Curious, Natsuki stepped towards it and summoned her Dratini.

Without any warning, Marie ordered Salendriel to use Thunderwave so it wouldn't have a chance to escape.

Bidoof seeing the large electricity really seemed to freak out him. Bidoof without waiting automatically went into defense using Defense Curl to have defense against attacks that might come his way. Though, Bidoof was still kinda trembling in it's curl.
Meanwhile Tama pointed to Bidoof shouting: "Pikachu, use ThunderShock!" Pikachu immediately gathered as much lightning as he can around him and then launched it forward to bidoof shouting: "PIKAAAA!!!" At that moment, Bidoof understood that he is right now about to encounter an attack and started trembling two times faster. He got hit by the lightning raising a bit in air getting covered black. When the attack ended, Bidoof still being in defense curl received less damage that pokemons usually do.

Bidoof then unrolled from defense curl and growled in an endearing way, making the foe less wary. Pikachu's attack at that moment was lowered making his attacks weaker. Bidoof after that immediately ran towards Pikachu aiming for a tackle.
Pikachu already had something up his sleeve, at right time, Pikachu did a counter-attack whipping it's tail forward and hitting the Bidoof. It was a strong whip, yet didn't do any attack. Instead of that, Bidoof could feel it's defense lowering making Pikachu's attack the same as it was before.

It was time for the last trump card. "Pikachu, use thundershock plus spin attack!" Tama shouted placing one foot forward as a reaction when ready to do something awesome. Pikachu started again gathering large amount of lightning around itself holding it flowing. Pikachu then jumped to Bidoof starting to spin very close to him and only then released the strong thunder. The thunder shot bidoof even more damage because of the extra spin. Bidoof soon realized that this is his limit and fell down unconscious and beaten. Pikachu stopped attacking and backed off a bit after the fight. Tama then showed a thumbs up for Pikachu after the great victory. "Hi, hi, hi, hi."

Soon Tama turned around dropping a look where Natsuki is right now to see how she is doing with the pokemon hunt. Right now Tama was here to train and not to capture pokemon, so he didn't throw a pokeball at bidoof after defeating him.
Meanwhile Pikachu went somewhere further to scout the area for more pokemon. Pikachu walked around while Tama was looking at Natsuki hunt for pokemon or train one as he didn't really know what was in her mind. It wasn't long before he encountered another pokemon which looked like a small bird. Pikachu was about to shout for Tama to come over.
