All teeth and scales!

"Pi, Pi, Pi" Twinkle the Pichu sang softly to herself as she skipped ahead of her Trainer. Izzy Dizzel smiled watching her Pichu enjoy the lovely sunny day. Starting on their journey was going to be tough, but together they would take down anything that got in their way! But in the back of her mind she figured she would have to spread out her team to have a better chance at being the best. but what pokemon should i try to get now? she thought to herself her thumbs in her front pockets and her shoulder bag lightly swaying and slapping against her hip.

"pi?" Twinkle stopped in her tracks and looked around, ears twitching and nose following suit. "Hmm?" Izzy stopped as well and look at her Pichu, "What's up?" she asked and the Pichu ran over to a tall clump of reeds, with Izzy being taller she would see over the 3 foot reeds to see a small pond. It smelled fresh after the rain the other day and was glowing blue under the sky. "Pi.." her pichu waved her tail to beckon Izzy closer. The trainer slowly moved over and crouched next to her electric rodent.

Through the reeds she saw a bit of red spiking out of the water along with two big eyes peeping out through the surface as the creature swam, "Toto... Toto" its voice bubbled through the surface as it swam, "huh...looks like a Totodile" she muttered remembering that she saw them on tv like the Cyndaquil. "...It's perfect" she smiled nudging her Pichu forward, "Let's get you a new buddy" she smiled and Pichu gained a glint in her eyes as she walked forward to the edge of the pond as Izzy stood up, "Oi Totodile i challenge you!" she declared and Pichu shouted the same translating for her trainer.

the totodile was enjoying its self swimming threw the water as it went, the rain from yesterday had made the river swell up and the totodile was enjoying the freedom that the water gave it. it had no care in the world untill it heard a voice sticking its head from out of the water with a small 'toto?' sound it looked around seeing the trainer.

it let out a low growl as it wantered out from the water and onto the ground the bright blue sky and sun warm to its scales. "Totodile!" it said as it crouched down low. seeing the pichu its readied its claws and went into the battle with a Leer towards the other Pokemon trying to intimidate it.

Pichu gave a slight shudder as the Totodile Leer'd at her. She glanced at her Trainer for support, when Izzy shouted, "Charm!" Pichu looked back at the Totodile and gave a rather adorable look with big puppy eyes and a bit of a pout, "Pi?" she whimpered looking adorable. Charm: Lowers physical attacks.

Izzy smiled looking at the totodile, she had only two extra pokeballs, she knew she would have to get more, but she hoped that one would be all she needed! She could not help but chuckle at her Pichu's adorable acting hoping it would affect the headstrong Totodile.

The totodile looked at the Pichu and gave a small shudder he couldn't help but stay his hand slightly but he would still hurt it. the totodile let out a small cry "Toto!" as it started its charge. going for a strike against the adorable Pichu, it had to defend its self or else its contests and pokebattles for the rest of its life.

its claws were still readied as it ran in close to the pichu it brought down its hand with a fast scratching motion. "Totodile!"

Pichu was too busy trying to appear cute to dodge as the claws struck against her soft fur, "PI!" she wailed as she bounced back, it didn't hurt as much as it should have but that didnt' stop it from throwing the poor Pichu. "Twinkle go, go go!" Izzy cheered as the Pichu got on her feet. She shook herself and glared at the Totodile. "Pi..." she growled bearing her small teeth. "Okay Twinkle it looks like we gotta resort to the bigguns!" Izzy declared making Pichu grin with a bit of evil, "Twinkle use Thundershock!" she ordered.

"pi...CHU!!!" the Pichu released a torrent of energy at the Totodile the wet ground acting like a guiding rod. "wah!" izzy squeaked as she was also shocked slightly her orange hair sticking straight up and she coughed up a bit of smoke, "G-good job girl"

"Toto? DILE!" the totodile shrieked as it was struck by the lightning water pokemon were never good against lightning types, and the totodile was clearly hurt by the shocking power of the Pichu. it coughed slightly as it fell back onto its rump blinking.

it shook slightly as it got back to its feet it was hurt but it was not down, as it went to strike again however something odd happened, it froze in mid strike its claws about to reach for the pichu, it seemed the strike had hurt it in more ways then one. "Tot?" it could barley move its jaws in its paralyzed state.

Twinkle closed her eyes as the claws were about to strike her, "Pi...Pi?" she blinked looking at the frozen totodile. She titled her head and reached out poking the claw causing the poor totodile to fall over. "Pi?" she looked over at her Trainer, "pi!" she squeaked racing over to Izzy. Izzy sighed shaking and trying to put her hair down, "You did good Twinkle" she chuckled a bit then looked at the paralyzed water pokemon.

"Looks like it's my lucky day," she stated then smiled, "and your's i'll be taking you as my pokemon Totodile, a partner, not a pet" she took out a pokeball, "Welcome to the team, Nibble!" she stated with a smile throwing the pokeball. She could see the shocked look in the creature's eyes as the ball enclosed around it pulling it in with white and red light. The ball twitched once, twice and then stopped.

Izzy walked over and picked the pokeball up, "Nibble the Totodile is mine!"
