At the Roadside~

Another place in Sinnoh region means more pokemon Tama has to reveal. This is just another one of those times that Tama crosses a place where he hasn't yet been. So far the traveling with pokemon has been more exciting than Tama imagined. He used to always play with his pokemon action figures while watching Pokemon shows on televisions and now he gets to be a real pokemon trainer!
Right now Tama was planning to train his Pikachu here and soon capture a pokemon that he had came to look for. But before that, Pikachu needed some training to become a truly strong pokemon.

Tama walked along the roadside of Route 206 slowly looking to the sides and searching for a pokemon he might summon Pikachu to fight with. He walked one third part of the route before hearing someone moving in the tall grass that was right next to the road of Route 206. Tama stepped a bit back taking a close look at it and seeing if he can get some data on the pokemon so he could search info on it.

Suddenly a bat typed of pokemon flied out of it appearing to be hiding from the sun in grass after wandering out of cave in night. The bat looking pokemon was currently realizing that he has been discovered and this was an self defense attack on Tama. Tama needed to act quick so he grabbed out pokeball shouting: "Pikachu, help!"
With appearance, Pikachu blasted the attacking bat pokemon with lightning knocking it back a bit to save Tama. "Phew, thanks Pikachu, you're a real hero!" Tama said with relief taking a deep breath. "Alright, let's see what is this pokemon!" Tama said taking out pokedex and scanning it to get data on it. This was the Zubat, a wild level 19 pokemon.

"Pikachu! He is flying type, you should do double damage to it!" Tama shouted pointing to the incoming Zubat. Pikachu nodded it's head and looked straight at the pokemon, if he could defeat this, it would be a perfect hit at improving skills. So without a doubt Pikachu first would start with a lightning attack, but before that, something else would need to be done.
Using the skill Quick Attack Pikachu attacked with a flash which would be invisible attack to Zubat. Later taking tail back, Pikachu did a quick Tail Whip at Zubat when jumping in air to hit him. This would make Zubat's defense weaker by one stage giving ability for Pikachu to do a trump card attack.

After the Tail Whip, Zubat rushed back at Pikachu with Wing attack. Pikachu was hit, but it dealt only half damage due to Pikachu's resistance against flying attacks. And with perfect opening, Pikachu had the time to attack. He jumped forward with quick attack to do a fast attack invisible for Zubat and finally with large amount of lightning gathering around body, Pikachu shot it all at Zubat with use of ThunderShock. The strike was deadly to Zubat, very deadly. It did double damage because of Zubat's weakness to lightning and extra attack because his defense was lowered by one stage.

Zubat at last moment tried to avoid but was hit by the ThunderShock falling on ground appearing to be knocked out. With confidence that Zubat is defeated, Pikachu turned around giving a smile to Tama. "Good job, that attack sure was deadly and must of been more deadly that it looked!" Tama showed a thumbs up for Pikachu. But he suddenly saw something. Zubat wasn't knocked out! He only acted like that, at opening it flied at behind of Pikachu attempting to bite it and then restore life. But thanks to Tama's reaction he shouted: "Pikachu, Look out!" and with use of Quick attack, Pikachu did a jump back and returned Zubat with a strong ThunderShock to finally knock it out with second super deadly attack.
This time, Zubat was knocked out for sure. "Ha ha, that thing almost got us, Pikachu!" Tama ran closer to Pikachu smiling. "You we're amazing!"
