The Beginning of a Circle

Natsuki entered the building with slight trepidation. After getting the call from some woman, she traveled far from the Kanto region to Sinnoh, where she would start her Pokemon journey. She patted her belongings and stepped into the Professor's laboratory.

"Gooood afternoon!" An eccentric professor burst out from the laboratory she had been working in a few mimutes ago. She walked forward to greet the new arrival, reaching a hand out to shake hers.
The computers scatteres around the room behind her displayed all sorts of things from Pokemon moves to their evolutions, and how they attacked each other.

"A-ah! Good afternoon to you too, Ma'am," Natsuki stated as she grabbed the extended hand and gave it a shake.

Her eyes widened at the many computers and all the data that they displayed. It was quite an impressive sight, even though she was used to seeing things like that.

"Erm... I'm here to get a PokeDex..." She trailed off. What else was she supposed to say?

The professor stepped back after giving Natsuki the handshake. She nodded when she mentioned the Pokedex. She dashed back into the room she had been working in, reaching out to grab something from a bag in the middle of the room. In fact, she grabbed two items. She walked back and handed them over to Natsuki.
"A pack of 5 Pokeballs and a Pokedex!" She beamed.

She waited patiently as the Professor scuttled around her lab to grab the requested PokeDex. Natsuki was sure that she wasn't going to an all-out trainer, but she wanted to travel the world and expand her knowledge on the medicines for both Pokemon and people.

When the professor returned with said PokeDex and a pack of five pokeballs, Natsuki was quite surprised. She shrugged it off and took them with a smile.

"Thanks Professor! Is there anything else I need to know?"

"There's a lot you need to know but I'm sure you'll figure it all out as you go along!" The professor smiled, pointing to the Pokedex she had just given the girl. "I'll call you through a special program I've updated the dex with. Also, there's an events page so I can tell you if anything important is going to happen." She smiled. "We've had a few sightings recently..."

"Haha! All right, Professor. Thank you, and nice meeting you too." Natsuki returned the smile, bowed a little to show respect, and waved good bye to the professor.

She stepped outside of the building and headed to Route 201, where she heard that some Growlithes live in. Natsuki was determined to catch on of them.
